Major release of the Mess benchmark framework with 84x faster execution, complete C++ rewrite, and zero-configuration setup.
We are excited to announce the release of Mess 2.0, a complete rewrite of the Memory system benchmarking framework.
What's New in 2.0:
- Order of magnitude faster execution compared to the previous version
- Complete C++ rewrite for maximum performance
- Zero-configuration setup - works out of the box
- Support for all major ISAs: x86, ARM, RISC-V, and NVIDIA PTX
The Mess framework provides a unified view of memory system benchmarking, simulation, and application profiling through bandwidth-latency curves.
